I am just a concerned mom of two boys, 7 year old with autoimmune problems, he gets sick really easily. And then theres the baby,  well hes not supposed to be a baby, he getting ready to be 4, but he has autism and it has really slowed his development down alot. My concern is how can my kid go to school with a fever between 100.0 - 101.0 , feels crummy everyday, and be able to keep up with education? I would like to homeschool but I need to be directed toward some kind of financial aid to do so. Kid is smart as a whip, he does great in school on those rare days he can go to school, he has missed 45 days this year w/ doctors notes for just about all the days. He has an underlying medical condition in which the doctors havent determined, so we have no idea why his Immune system stays so weak. Blood work keeps coming back normal. I am up to my ears with frustration. I dont want him to fail his grade and have to go to 2nd grade again but in all honesty he is not ready for 3rd. i dont wanna send him back to 2nd grade public school next term and to fail again for missed days. But like I said I cant afford the homeschooling curriculum...I have looked into it and it cost upward of $900. My husband makes our living going to work at a factory everyday...even when hes sick, just to pay the normal bills and now with the medical bills constantly.....If anyone has any advise or thinks they can help, please email me.
